Short CV:

Ioana Zacharias Vultur works in the Department of History & Theory of Architecture and Heritage Conservation „Sanda Voiculescu”, UAUIM since 2008. She is also a practicing architect with signature right (2011), Zeppelin magazine editor (2010), scientific coordinator of the CSAV research center & CSAV Journal (2012) and CEO of Rendercity (2019). 

Since 2006 she has organized workshops, lectures, webinars and conferences, curated exhibitions and collaborated in research projects at national and international level in the field of architecture. In 2009 she gave a series of 10 online architecture courses for diaspora children in Luxembourg, France and the Netherlands, within the Hague Romanian School.  

She received numerous recognitions and distinctions for art and architecture competitions, national and international, from which we mention the Certificate of Excellence granted by the RIBA jury for the diploma project (2008). She was a European scholar with doctoral stage at ENSAPLV and ENSAPM Paris (2012), she is a YES scholar - Young Educator Scholarship at the l'Università degli Studi di Firenze, Restoration Laboratory (2022), member of the National Architecture Biennale for the ”Rural revitalisation” section (2021) and the ”Ville Durable” Competition organized by the Embassy of France in Romania and CCIFER for the ”Heritage and urban reconversion” section. 

In collaboration with the French Institute in Bucharest and the Embassy of France she organized in 2021-2022 a series of Franco-Romanian webinars (broadcasted live on Facebook) with specialists guests, under the title of „Le patrimoine comme outil de développement territorial. Approches franco-roumaines”, which approached different aspects: territorial, as economic development instrument, in relation with sustainability and ecology, and the latest digital tools (in preparation).

She organized within the team of the SCHOLARH research project (2020, 2021) two webinars and a workshop dedicated to architectural heritage, from its analogue forms to the digitized (and digitally-born ones), with international guests (Versailles, France and Lund, Sweden). Within a large team of people and cultural partners such as the National Heritage Institute, she was the scientific coordinator of the Schönberg 2021 and Schönberg 2022 summer-schools, dedicated to vernacular architecture crafting techniques, at the CSAV Center and the Green Household in Dealu Frumos, Sibiu, a cultural project supported by the Romanian Order of Architects and The Prince of Wales Foundation: https://www.uauim.ro/evenimente/schoenberg-live-studio/ & https://www.uauim.ro/evenimente/imuau-summer-school-schoenberg-2022/

She collaborated with the DSBA architecture office (2008-2010) for three international competitions, out of which two finalized with IIIrd and Ist prizes.

The relationship between the evolution of technology and history of architecture, heritage, history of art.
