We are a group of students of Eastern European Studies at the Free University in Berlin/Germany and we intend to study the environmental awareness in Romania using the example of the planned gold mining in Rosia Montana. In Germany we even don´t noticed it.
We would like to present the critical point of views from the artists and art students, who live in Romania. The selected works will be presented to an international audience at a gallery in Berlin. The exhibition will be accompanied by an opening and a discussion about the problem.
If you know any artists, students or activist interested in this topic, please send them our “Call for Art”. Also, we would be grateful, if you could hang our “Call for Art” out in your institute or upload it to your homepage.
