Learning outcomes:

The course provides basic knowledge on urban morphology as a tool to understand the city through the analysis of its components. At the same time, the aim is to form analytical and correlative skills applied to the urban fabric, in order to know in depth the context of inserting the architectural object in a site. Based on the knowledge acquired in this course, the student will be able to morpho-typologically analyze various fragments of urban fabric, to hierarchize and classify in a structured way, its elements and to define integrative the morphological character of an urban space, as an essential feature of the context of the architectural object.
