3. Diagnosis. Vision. Mission.
4. Formulation of strategic objectives.
5. Building the strategy. Operational plans.
6. Operational planning. Monitoring and control.
7. Case study – a strategy of a Romanian municipality.
8. Legislation and urban law.
9. The Territorial and Urban Planning and Constructions Code (CATUC).
10. CATUC rules of implementation. Content-framework for urban planning documentations.
11. Legislation in other fields impacting territorial and urban planning.
12. Urban planning regulations.
13. Romanian Registry of Urban Planners.
14. Case study - analysis of a Zonal Urban Plan from initiation to approval.

Teaching Method:

Lectures, case studies, discussions based on required readings

Assessment:

50% continuous assessment – ​​tests/assignments
50% final exam
