Learning outcomes:

The course provides students with concepts of creating web pages: the functionality, structure, appearance of a web page, design trends in web pages, standards, etc. After passing the course, the students will be able to create simple Web pages.



1. Short history. Functionality, structure, appearance of a Web document.
2. Protocols used in the Internet. Creating a simple site.
3. Making a HTML file step by step. Fonts, lists.
4. Links to other documents. Internal and external links.
5. Inserting images. Mapping images.
6. Creating tables and formats.
7. Creating frames.
8. What are the styles. Specifying a stylesheet.
9-10. Using Macromedia Flash MX application - buttons.
11-12. Using Macromedia Flash MX application - clips.
13-14. Using Macromedia Flash MX application - animations.

Teaching Method:

Theoretical lectures, multimedia presentations, examples on computer.
Individual work on computers with guidance


Practical works durig the semester 50% and final examination 50%.
