The UAUIM INTERSTUDIO project, funded through the FDI 2026 programme, invites international students at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning to participate in a free tutoring and mentoring programme.
The project aims to support the academic and social integration of international students and to contribute to the development of a more open and collaborative university environment connected to the international academic community.
The programme will take place between October and November 2026 and will include individual online meetings held via Zoom with UAUIM graduates and doctoral students. The activities will be tailored to the needs of each participant and may include:
- support in understanding courses and studio activities;
- guidance with subjects that students may find challenging;
- familiarisation with UAUIM’s working methods and academic requirements;
- guidance regarding university life and the services provided by the university;
- support in adapting to studying and living in Bucharest;
- the opportunity to discuss academic and practical challenges with a tutor familiar with the university environment.
The programme will provide approximately five hours of tutoring per month. The meeting schedule will be agreed upon by each student and their assigned tutor, according to their availability.
Participation is free of charge and entirely voluntary. Interested students can register by sending an email to vlad.iosif@ymail.com.
Each participant will subsequently be put in contact with one of the project tutors to establish the schedule and activities.
