The UAUIM INTERSTUDIO project, funded through the FDI 2026 programme, invites Erasmus students studying at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning to participate in a free orientation, tutoring and mentoring programme.
The project aims to facilitate the integration of Erasmus students into the UAUIM community and to help them become more familiar with the university, its academic activities and student life in Bucharest.
The programme will take place between October and November 2026 and will include individual online meetings, supplemented, where necessary, by orientation activities on the university premises. Each participant will receive support from a UAUIM graduate or doctoral student familiar with the academic environment and the way the university operates.
The activities will be tailored to the needs of each participant and may include:
- becoming familiar with the UAUIM premises and the university’s main facilities;
- finding their way around the building and locating lecture rooms, studios, administrative offices, the library and other important facilities;
- support in understanding and reading the timetable;
- information about the organisation of courses, studio activities and other academic activities;
- guidance on administrative procedures and the services available to students;
- becoming familiar with the platforms and communication channels used within the university;
- support in understanding UAUIM’s working methods and specific academic requirements;
- answers to practical questions that may arise at the beginning of the study period;
- recommendations for adapting to university life and everyday life in Bucharest.
The programme will provide approximately five hours of tutoring per month. The meeting schedule will be agreed upon by each student and their assigned tutor, according to their availability.
Participation is free of charge and entirely voluntary. Interested students can register by sending an email to vlad.iosif@ymail.com.
Each participant will subsequently be put in contact with one of the project tutors to establish the schedule and activities.
Further information about the programme can be requested at the same email address.
