“Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism (UAUIM) and the National Institute of Research-Development in Constructions, Sustainable Urban Planning and Land Development (INCD URBAN-INCERC) invite submissions for the international conference:

Risk Reduction for Resilient Cities

The conference will be held on November 3 – November 4, 2016 at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Romania.

The conference theme is the reduction of the multi-hazard risk in protected urban areas through architecture, engineering and urbanism strategies for ensuring cities’ resilience.

The organizers welcome papers on the following topics: Multi-hazard preparation & prevention, Environment & Ecological Risks, Technical risks, Urban risks, Social and Political risks, Cultural risk, Resilience & Vulnerability, Risk Management, Education & Research.
