How does vegetation become a second nature of place? How does it occupy space, blur edges, and reshape architecture? How do the garden, light, and the distance between volumes define the measure of dwelling? How can a walnut tree change the logic of occupying a plot? An exhibition in three sequences, featuring drawings, models, and images.
The exhibition brings together drawings, models, and images by second-year students at the UAUIM Faculty of Architecture, tracing three moments linked by vegetation as a structuring principle of place. Across different programs, typologies, and scales, vegetation acts as an active layer that shapes perception, movement, intimacy, and the relation between body and site. In Comana, vegetation comes first: it occupies space, spills over houses, blurs edges, and prevents architecture from becoming an autonomous object. In the Hârjeu subdivision, the garden, the distance between volumes, and filtered light define dwelling. In Negustori, a walnut tree shifts the project from occupation to working around a living presence with its own mass, shade, and temporality. A quiet continuity runs through all three: a second nature with which architecture negotiates rather than dominates. Admission is free and highly recommended :)
