- Learning outcomes:
- a) pedagogical:
The exactly assuming of the demands required by the theme, which cultivates at the architect students from the first year the disciplining of the act of drawing, the patience, the capacity of concentration, the professional ethics and, not at least, the capacity to store the knoledges gradually, from the simple to the complex things.
b) didactics:
- The initiation of the students in expression of the drawing through the line.
- Exercises of co-ordination from the mental level to the free-hand drawing.
- Developing the capacity of viewing the spatiality through the line.
- Developing the capacity of essentializing the reprezentation of the form through the line (in the end of the study). - Content:
- THE LINE
1. Presentation of the instruments and of the working techniques. Drawing test (session in the studio), free choice technique
2. Exercise of disciplining and co-ordination. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Free hand drawing using pencil
3. Line of figure – observation drawing. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Free hand drawing using pencil
4. Values of the line in architectural drawing. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Drawing with china ink using instruments
5. The volume represented by the line graphic of the surfaces. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Observation drawing using the pencil
6. The graphic of the surface through the line. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Observation drawing using the pencil
7. Representing the surface – graphic textures. Support – white drawing paper 35x50 cm. Drawing with china ink - Teaching Method:
- Theoretical explanations to all the students from the year, a week before the practical work, practical works realised in the studio, with guidance.
- Assessment:
- The average of the best 5 works = 80 %, the portofolio containing all the works = 20%.
