Learning outcomes:

The study of the essences of wood, jointing details, finishings, furniture categories, technical data for pieces of seating, tapestry structures. The student will be able to design execution drawings for a piece of furniture.

Lectures:

1. Base wooden materials for furniture
2. Assembly
3. Doors for pieces of furniture
4. Drawers for pieces of furniture
5. Constructions and structures for pieces of furniture
6. Tapestries for pieces of furniture ( construtctions and structures for basic materials, tapestry phases)
7. Furniture finishings
8. Technical data for providing optimal seating position, technical data regarding storage

Assessment:

Evaluation throught the course & exam plus a project on a piece of furniture of choice within the seminar, with model execution
