- Study of furniture and relationship between them and the surrounding space. The furniture piece is studied as an ensemble of elements united technologically under functional and esthetical aspect.

1. Definition of the expression pointers. Materials used in building furniture.
2. Technology in material processing.
3. Furniture body parts. Fixed & detachable ensembles.
4. Furniture finishing.
5. Furniture for storage and activities.
6. Tapestried furniture and furniture for resting.
7. Furniture for sitting: chair without backrest, simple chair, chair with armrest, armchair.
